Chris works in the Healing Arts Department at Rhode Island, Bradley, and Hasbro Children’s Hospital providing soothing, stress-releasing music for adults and children.
Chris performs for children and families in Elementary Schools and Libraries. He provides an upbeat, interactive musical performance on guitar, harmonica, whistling and vocals. The show is family friendly with music that spans folk music, early rock and roll, pop, and international music.
Chris plays for Adults and Seniors in nursing homes, assisted livings, public housing and senior centers, providing an upbeat, interactive program of well-known songs and sing-alongs from the 1930s up through the 1960s.
Chris also performs solo and with the Chris Monti Band (featuring Marty Ballou on bass and Grant Smith on drums) at clubs, bars, and restaurants, weddings and private parties, playing an upbeat mix of original dance music along with American, West African, Latin, and Caribbean songs.
Chris provides Musical Soundscapes for Art Openings, Receptions, Cocktail Parties, and Weddings.
Chris can play for any sized group. He has performed for individual patients in hospital rooms and for groups of hundreds in auditoriums. He has a very wide repertoire of songs and musical styles and can cater a performance to just about any audience.
