Hi, I'm Chris Monti, a singer, musician, writer and bandleader. I write songs that give away my interest in afro-pop, rock and roll, old-time fiddle music, free music, folk-music, soukous, metal, country-blues, and calypso. I sing and play solo on acoustic guitar and harmonica and I also play rhythm and lead electric guitar. I've cranked giant jurdy-gurdy's for operas, played Terry Riley's "In C", toured the east coast, and picked the brain of every great musician I can get my hands on.
